The Monarch Collection
An architectural, color-blocked tote that folds into sharp, structured facets. The lower body is made of smooth matte black cowhide, contrasted beautifully by an upper V-shaped panel of rich honey-tan cowhide suede with delicate cross-stitch accents.

How It Is Made
01
Each hide is chosen by hand at the tannery — assessed for grain consistency, thickness, and natural character before a single cut is made.
02
Panels are traced and cut by a single artisan using traditional iron patterns. No laser cutting. No automation. Every edge is bevelled by hand.
03
Two needles, one thread — the saddle stitch is the oldest and strongest technique in leatherwork. Each stitch is set by hand, one at a time.
04
Edges are burnished with bone tools and beeswax until smooth and sealed. The process takes longer than the stitching. It is not skipped.
