Each bag is the work of a single craftsman — from the first cut of the hide to the final burnishing of the edges. No assembly line. No division of labour. One pair of hands, one complete piece.

Hand-Stitched
We use the saddle-stitch — a two-needle technique unchanged since the Renaissance. It is slower than machine stitching. It is also stronger, more precise, and impossible to replicate at scale.

The Hide

Sourced with Intention
We source exclusively from tanneries in Tuscany and Veneto — regions where vegetable tanning has been practised for centuries. The hides are selected by hand, one by one, for grain consistency, thickness, and natural markings.
We do not hide the natural character of the hide. Scars, grain variations, and subtle tonal differences are not flaws — they are proof of origin. They are what make each piece unrepeatable.
